Guest speaker: R.T. Rybak, former Mayor of Minneapolis

Human resource tools for employers including strategies to fill your talent pipeline.  Many employers are finding success through providing work based learning experiences, like internships, for younger workers.

Attendees will receive an employer handbook with sample job descriptions, sample intern models and more.  Employers will also learn how they can participate in a community internship program offered through Burnsville Promise.

Our guest speaker, R.T. Rybak, currently serves as CEO and President of the Minneapolis Foundation. Rybak served as the executive director of Generation Next, and prior to that he served as Mayor of Minneapolis from 2002 - 2013. He will share his insights and experience related to internships and youth in the workplace.
