2023 Advocacy and Issues Forum - December

Become more educated on what is happening within the 3^rd largest county and 3^rd largest economy in the State of Minnesota!

Board Chair, Commissioner Liz Workman, and Matt Smith, Dakota County Manager, will be presenting information on key happenings occurring within the DCR Region within Dakota County. Other Commissioners may join as scheduleds allow.

About The Speakers:
Matt Smith
Matt Smith has been the Dakota County Manager since 2014. The county manager is the administrative head of the county. Matt is responsible for managing county operations and for carrying out all decisions, policies, ordinances and resolutions of the board of commissioners. The county manager's duties include preparing an ​annual budget and long-range Capital Improvement Program.
Liz Workman
Liz Workman has served on the county board since 2009. She is the Commissioner for District 5 and is the Chair of the Board of Commissioners. District 5 covers the City of Burnsville.
