Legislative Breakfast: Minnesota's Budget Forecast & Your Priorities

Big issues loom at the State Capitol at the halfway point of the 2017 legislative session.  While legislators delivered on healthcare relief and federal tax conformity in the first few weeks, many high profile issues remain undecided. 
 

In January, Legislators received an updated budget forecast showing a $29 million dip for the fiscal year. While individual income tax and corporate franchise taxes were under projections, sales taxes and other revenues over-performed.

The events are held the first Friday of each month, February through June, 2017, from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at The Commons on Marice in Eagan.  Breakfast is served.
