Member Listed Event: Community Iron Pour

At Caponi Art Park we take donations of old cast iron radiators and dismantle them for melting. When you participate in the Community Iron Pour you get a first hand opportunity to see junk transformed into art. The iron is heated in a special furnace to 3,000 degrees fahrenheit and poured into molds created by students at our Hot Art! Workshops.
