The Buzz - April 2011

Join us for the April Buzz where we will hear from Women Build,  a distinctive Global Habitat for Humanity program that companies and individuals may benefit from participating in. 
  
For 10-weeks this summer, more than 500 women volunteers in the metro area will work together to build a Habitat home from the ground up in a West St. Paul neighborhood starting with the wall raising on June 6!  

Some of Women Build’s key missions and desired outcomes include:
- Closing diversity gaps
- Empowering women to make a difference in their communities
- Highlighting  women’s achievements
- Developing teamwork and leadership skills
- Giving women the opportunity to step out of traditional roles and comfort zones.
